Bangladesh Cotton Association (BCA) is the premier Trade body of Cotton Agents, Importers, Traders, Cotton Growers and Ginners. Founded in the year 1999 Bangladesh Cotton Association (BCA) continues to play a vital role in sourcing raw cotton from all over the world in order to feed the thriving Textile Industry.

The annual demand of cotton currently is more then Eight Million Bales. Less then 2% of this demand is sourced locally. Cotton sourcing is a big challenge for our Textile and Clothing industry and Bangladesh Cotton Association members are procuring 98% of the cotton from India, Africa, Australia, Brazil, USA, Pakistan, Greece and other cotton producing countries.

Besides cotton for the export of Garments and Textile, the clothing needs of around 180 million people also need to be met.

Bangladesh Cotton Association has been organizing Global Cotton Summit Bangladesh (GCSB) in Dhaka since 2015 in order to promote the art of cotton sourcing and to establish an integrated Buyer and Supplier relationship.

Bangladesh cotton association has members around the country and a team of 15 members Executive committee is overseeing its activities. 

Bangladesh Cotton Association is affiliated with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), affiliated association of the International Cotton Association (ICA). It is also closely working with the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). We have cordial relations with Cotton Association of India (CAI), Indian Cotton Association Limited (ICAL), Brazil Cotton Growers Association (ABRAPA), Brazil Cotton Shippers Association (ANEA), Australian Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA), Cotton Council International (CCI), USA etc.

BCA represents in various committees and sub-committees of the Government Ministries and Departments. Bangladesh Cotton Association is committed to promote, protect and serve its members and the Cotton Community of Bangladesh.
